Descrição da excursão
Upon arrival of your cruise ship, the guide will be identified with a SHORE2SHORE© sign.
Join us on this fantastic excursion through the interior of the Balearic island of Majorca to the Caves of Drach.
Located on the east coast of Mallorca, these caves are one of the main tourist attractions and undoubtedly one of the most remarkable on the island, with a horizontal extension of about 2,400 metres and a maximum depth of 25 metres below the surface.
The caves are hidden inside a large underground lake, Lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world (177 metres long and 30 metres wide), where classical music concerts are held daily with pieces by Caballero, Chopin, and Offenbach. The incomparable beauty of these caves is enhanced by the lighting designed and implemented by engineer Carlos Buigas.
We will have free time in Porto Cristo, a typical Mallorcan fishing village with many restaurants, bars and boutiques along the seafront promenade.
Depending on the route and if there is time available, we will stop for photos at the beautiful Palma Cathedral (view from the outside).
Return to the port at the end of the excursion and farewell.
